All looks delish! What is milk tart? is it like a custard tart? That’s probably a terrible comparison to a lover of milk tart! I apologist in advance!
Milk tart is the South African version of a normal custard tart. They think it’s awesome…but it’s not really!
Lol, there r several Indian sweets that r like that. When I was over there I didn’t want to be rude, so I was like “oh, this is nice.” big mistake cos whoever I was visiting would then load me up with more!
That cheesecake looks amazing! Also yeah, the mushroom bake doesn’t look very pretty, but it does sound lovely! I must look up the receipe.
Lol, my husband saw the picture after I’d posted it and told me it looked like filth! They’re really easy to make. You chargrill about 8 slices of bread, then tear them up and mix in a big bowl with 2 cloves of garlic, one chilli, about 8 rashes of chopped bacon, a whole bunch of fresh thyme and as many different kinds of torn up mushrooms as you please. Then load it all into a dish, top with some mozzarella, whack it in the oven for 1/2 an hour and voila!

This dish sounds great. I’m vegetarian. I wonder what I could sub for the bacon.

Actually, I’m not sure the bacon adds much. I think you could just leave it out. The thyme and garlic are what make this so tasty.
